Paul Lauren Designs provides full-service luxury interior design for whole homes in North Scottsdale, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley: new construction alongside your architect and builder, renovations, and complete furnishing, led personally by Lauren Rautbord and Kendra Vaughn from the first conversation to the final installation.
What we do
Full-service interior design
Space planning, interior architecture, finishes, lighting, furnishings, art and accessories, composed as one vision and managed hands-on from the first walkthrough to the final installation.
New construction
We join your architect and builder early to refine plans, millwork, cabinetry, fixtures and finish schedules, so the interiors and the architecture are designed as one.
Renovation
Kitchens, baths and whole-home renovations that respect a home's bones while bringing it up to the way you live now, with clear guidance through contractors, budgets and timelines.
Furnishing and styling
Custom and to-the-trade furnishings, window treatments, rugs, lighting and art, sourced, ordered, tracked and installed so that move-in day feels finished.
Second and vacation homes
Mountain, lake and coastal homes, designed from afar and delivered turnkey so the house is ready the day you arrive.
Builder and spec homes
Model and speculative homes furnished to show a way of living, the approach behind our Silverleaf Spec residence.
Every service is led personally by the principals. Lauren Rautbord has more than 30 years of interior design experience and Kendra Vaughn has been with the studio since 2018; together they keep the studio deliberately small so each home receives their direct attention.
How we work
Discovery
We begin by listening: how you live, what you love and how the home should feel, with an honest conversation about scope, investment and timing.
Concept and space planning
Floor plans, furniture layouts and a design direction take shape, with palettes and materials that answer the architecture and its views.
Design development
Finishes, fixtures, lighting, upholstery, fabrics and art are selected and refined together, and presented for your approval.
Procurement and project management
The studio orders, tracks and receives every piece and works alongside your architect, builder and trades on site.
Installation
Furniture is placed, art hung and beds dressed, so you walk into a home that is complete, calm and entirely yours.
